What This Course Covers and Who This Course is For

In this course, you will learn how to be yourself on camera, how to be comfortable being you - whatever *you* is. You will not be learning how to be a character. To do that requires a different kind of instruction altogether, and is not in the scope of this course. Don’t let’s put the cart before horse though. Let’s get you feeling comfortable being yourself first, then we can tackle more advanced instruction later!

If you’re looking to embody a character for your content, there are still techniques you should learn that are covered here, even when doing character work. Think of this course as the foundation from which all other on-camera work flows.

This course does not teach proper English or speaking technique a la Toastmasters. This course also does not cover acting techniques per se, but I do draw from my training as an actor to share exercises that will help you become comfortable on camera.
